Star Spangled Banner dropped by Pittsburgh hockey teams

Some high school hockey teams in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania are dropping the national anthem before games because they say it takes up too much ice time.

The ice time is so tightly scheduled that if games are not competed when they should, they're called when time runs out. So to keep the games on time, the athletic commission is cutting the national anthem. Some parents say the anthem is more important than finishing a game.

The commission is now meeting again to discuss how to save time but keep the anthem in before games.
