Arrests made in Mining and Minerals Museum in Mariposa

Action News has learned that arrests have been made in the robbery at the California Mining and Minerals Museum in Mariposa.

Back in September, suspects broke in with pick axes while employees were inside. Investigators say they stole more than $1million worth of artifacts and gold. Tuesday, authorities arrested three men believed to have carried out the crime.

Investigators identified the suspects as 40-year-old Edward Rushing from Eldorado County, 43-year-old Matthew Campbell and 41-year-old Jonathan Matis both of Sutter County.

Authorities say more arrests could follow.
