Thieves hit the Serpa Automotive dealership in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif.

The Serpa Automotive dealership on Mooney Bouelvard in Visalia has been vacant for months.

Over the last few weeks, owner Frank Serpa says thieves broke into the facility three different times.

The suspects took computer equipment, copper wire, auto tools and some memorabilia.

Serpa said, "Since this happened to me more than once I'm not really surprised they'll steal any socket in the wall they'll strip it down, everything little thing if it's worth 5 cents they'll take it."

What Serpa wants back most of all, is a 12-foot tall inflatable version of Serpaman which he says was the dealer's mascot before he retired last year.
