Clovis police are investigating a car accident that knocked out power to hundreds of people on Sunday.

It happened on Sunnyside near Barstow around 7:30 Sunday morning.

Authorities say a driver crashed into two parked cars. One of those cars then hit a power pole.

PG&E says more than 600 people were left without electricity for about four hours as a result.

The driver walked away with only minor injuries. It's not clear if wet streets played a role in the crash.
