Cost of orange juice may be on the rise

The Wall Street Journal reports orange-juice futures surged, almost nine percent last week.

Investors who buy futures, are betting on what, they think, will happen down the road. They are concerned a frost may damage the U.S. orange crop, over the next few months. Investors are betting that prices will rise, if a frost hits Florida.

Florida produces about 70-percent of U.S. oranges.
