UPDATE: Fresno teen makes up would-be kidnapper story

The teen says she was walking home from Bullard High School, when she noticed a truck was following her. The driver got out, and tried to get the teen to come with him. At one point, he even tore her shirt.
The teen says she used scissors to fight him off. Then she ran to Starr Elementary School for help.
School leaders commend the teen's actions, saying she did the right thing by finding an adult at a safe location.
