An investigation is underway in the North Valley after a double stabbing.

Merced County Sheriff's Deputies went to a liquor store on Stephens Street in Delhi Sunday night after getting reports of a fight. They found one man who was stabbed twice in the leg and several people running away from the area.

A short time later, Turlock Police reported a second stabbing victim at Lander Avenue and Highway 99. That man is now listed in critical condition at a Modesto hospital.

Investigators believe the stabbing was gang related.
