Americans are drinking less milk every year

According to the Wall Street Journal, the average consumption per-person was down more than three percent in 2011, and almost 30-percent since 1975.

Officials say some of the reasons for the decrease include trendy new health and energy drinks, low-fat and lactose-free diets, and the growing popularity of dairy alternatives such as soy milk.
