The shooting happened just before 11:30 on Monday morning in the area of Huntington and Peach. Police say when officers got to the scene, they found the 51-year-old victim in the pool area of the complex.
He was taken to Community Regional Hospital and is in serious condition.
The suspect ran off after the shooting, but police caught up with him. They have not identified him, but say he is a 31-year-old Hispanic man.
