The Sheriff's detectives say Reed lived with his 67-year-old father who was found shot to death on Tuesday morning by a relative.
The sheriff's office are asking for the public's help in locating Reed. They believe he may be in the San Joaquin or Sacramento County areas and is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information on the case, you are asked to call the Merced County Sheriff's Office at (209) 385-7445.
