They say Rodolfo Montes was initially taken into custody on sex abuse charges.
In the process of that investigation, they learned Montes is also an ex-felon who was in possession of a handgun, pirated DVD's, and counterfeit sports apparel.
Police say based on the equipment they found in his home, they believe the suspect was running a small to mid-size counterfeiting operation.
