Fresno State is hosting its 20th annual "Red Wave Classic Junior Livestock Show" at the Fresno fairgrounds. The show started Saturday and will continue tomorrow.
It gives high school students from across the state a chance to enter the ring and compete in showmanship. They also learn how to be good stewards of the land and animals.
Fresno State student Riggs Lokka said, "I love interacting with the students and helping youth be better for tomorrow."
The show continues Sunday morning, starting at 9 a.m.
Organizers are hoping residents will come out to support the students, and learn a little more about the people who put food on their tables.
