The Tower District hosted its 16th annual Mardi Gras celebration Sunday. This year's theme was "Mardi Gras in space."
The party featured floats, live bands, walking and biking crews, dancers, and car clubs.
The fun continues all week in the Tower District, with restaurants serving up Cajun and creole meals all week for lunch and dinner.
Many places will be hosting Fat Tuesday parties later this week.
