In the video, you can see thousands of spiders dangling from the sky in a massive web.
The video already has more than a half a million views on YouTube. It shows spiders moving up and down the web tangled on telephone lines in the southern town of Santo Antonio da Platina.
Biologists have determined that these social spiders work in teams to catch much larger prey than otherwise possible. These arachnids have been identified as Anelosimus eximius.
Locals call the rare sight "spider rain."
