The California Highway Patrol says a Ford Expedition full of people had a tire blow-out on Interstate 5 near Kamm Avenue Saturday.
The SUV flipped several times resulting in a 63-year-old passenger dying at the scene. The 43-year-old driver was flown to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The other seven passengers were taken to area hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.
