U.C. Davis: Bee shortage may affect almond production

A bee shortage is affecting more than just honey production.

Officials with U.C. Davis say there might not be enough honey bees to pollinate California almonds this year. Experts say a combination of factors are causing the shortage -- including malnutrition and pesticide use.

California produces about 80 percent of the world's almond supply.
