The suspects stole cash and two passports from an unattended shopping cart.
Monday police arrested Pedro Salmeron. His girlfriend Valerie Montanez was arrested a few weeks ago but is now out on bail.
In the video, you'll see a surveillance picture from the store. The crime happened January 31st at the WinCo on Peach Avenue.
Police say two visitors from China were shopping. The two suspects took the unattended shopping cart to a nearby aisle, took the backpack and left the store.
Police say were able to track down the pair, after Valerie Montanez was caught shoplifting at the Home Depot in Northeast Fresno.
