Authorities received a call around 7:53 p.m. after a man was found lying on the street in the 7000 block of Garden Drive. Responding deputies found the man, later identified as Manuel Bustos, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Bustos, 58, was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
Sheriff's Homicide detectives are investigation the case.
