Valley residents pay their respect to a car crash victim

FRESNO, Calif.

Friends and family held a candlelight vigil at the scene where Lindsay Kavookjian crashed her car into a wall. It happened near Clinton and Polk Avenues in West Central Fresno just a few hundred feet from where Kavookjian lived.

Her family says she was on her way home around 2 a.m. Saturday. They say the amount of people remembering her Sunday showed how much people will miss her.

Paul Torres, the victim's uncle said, "You can always know she had a lot of friends. But to see this kind of turnout is amazing and how far she reaches."

What caused Kavookjian to crash is still under investigation.
