Caltrans broke ground on the 19th Avenue and Highway 198 interchange project today in Lemoore. The project will create a half-cloverleaf-shaped overpass for drivers and pedestrians to safely travel over the highway.
Officials hope the new interchange will mean shorter response times from police and fire departments to get to emergencies and that it will encourage more business to the City Of Lemoore's industrial park.
The project is expected to be complete in the spring of 2015.
