Police arrest two ID theft suspects in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif.

Officers arrested two suspects near Cedar and Ashlan around 5 p.m. Thursday. Officials say the crew used shaved keys, blow torches, and nail guns that allowed them to quickly break in to businesses, homes, and mailboxes to steal people's identities.

Ryan Enos, 34, and Sara Booth, 27, have been arrested for running the operation. Officials said they created a handwritten log of victims' names, date of births, and driver's licenses numbers to issue credit cards in their names. They even stole an electronic PDA from a Home Depot in Selma to find more victims.

Police say the suspects used the stolen information to buy a U-Haul to carry other stolen items to local chop shops.

Officials believe with this crew off the street, crimes rates should decrease.
