Fire investigators spent the day combing through part of the damage left behind at the Oakhurst Lodge. Investigators say it's still too early to determine the cause of the fire, but are not ruling out arson.

The fire broke out from one of the rooms early Thursday morning, and quickly spread to the rest of the structure.

Nearby hotels opened their doors to the displaced guests, and are planning to take those who had upcoming reservations.

"We're a small community," said Debbie Mackey with Yosemite Southgate Hotel and Suites. "If something happened to us, we would hope they would do the same thing. That's just how it works here. We all have each other's backs."

In the meantime, the lodge owner says she plans to rebuild the hotel while keeping its historic structure
