Class ring found at laundromat

Casandra Griffin is trying to find the owner of a class ring found inside a laundry machine.

Griffin was cleaning out the lint traps at Wash Time Laundromat in East Central Fresno Sunday night when she came across a shiny object.

On closer inspection she noticed the item was actually a ring. It turned out to be a 1980 class ring from Hoover High School. Griffin says she contacted the school and Fresno unified school district to help her track down the person it belongs to.

"it's got to be sentimental. You've had it all this time. And I know that they're missing it. So it's important, I would want somebody to do the same thing for me," said Griffin.

The ring has engraved initials on it. If you think this ring may belong to you, you can call Griffin at 477-5275.
