The California Highway Patrol said the driver of a car didn't stop at a stop sign and was hit by a semi-truck. One woman was killed in the crash. Officers said it appears the driver may have been distracted.
Investigators say a nearby orchard may have made it difficult for the driver to see oncoming traffic. It isn't clear if anyone will face charges related to the accident.
The victim has not yet been identified.
