Fresno police have arrested a known gang member for the shooting deaths of a father and son.

On the night of Friday June 28, 22-year-old Tony Torres Junior and his father, 48-year-old Tony Torres Senior were shot while sitting inside an SUV outside a liquor store at First and Gettysburg in Northeast Fresno.

Officers arrested 22-year-old Michael Rincon on Wednesday after they found him hiding inside a Southwest Fresno home. Investigators believe Tony Torres Junior was the intended target and that the man's father was inadvertently hit by gunfire.

Detectives are still looking for another suspect in the case. They believe the person was following the victims in a light colored four-door compact car.

Anyone with information should call the Fresno Police Department.
