40 dogs found living under a Hanford woman's bed

HANFORD, Calif.

Deputies were called to the home because the couple was being evicted. Animal control officers said roughly forty of the dogs were living under her bed. The city of Hanford only allows three dogs per household.

The owners aren't facing any criminal charges because the dogs were well fed and generally in good condition.

Kings County Animal Services is hoping most of the pups will be adopted.
