Growers say the warm temperatures have provided the perfect weather for growing figs. Thanks to that weather, the 2013 fresh California fig season got underway two weeks ahead of schedule. Fig farmers say they're looking forward to this year's harvest, adding that there will be plenty of figs until mid-December.

California produces nearly all the figs in the country.
