Blood drive held for shot Trenton officers

TRENTON, N.J. - August 23, 2013

The blood drive is being held until 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Trenton Fire Department headquarters at 244 Perry Street.

The drive is for detectives Edgar Rios and James Letts.

They were shot and wounded last week while investigating a domestic violence incident.

Letts is now recovering at home, but Rios remains in the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Another blood drive will be held on Wednesday, August 28th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Trenton Public Library at 120 Academy Street in Trenton.
