The city cleared illegal structures at Los Angeles and E Street on Tuesday. They will move on to H Street and Santa Clara next week.

Crews were busy moving piles of trash and charred belongings.

The Fresno Housing Authority says about 250 people have been affected by the clearing of the encampments. About 50 have been placed in a safe shelter.

Since the encampments have been dismantled, the Fresno Rescue Mission says it has not seen an increase in the number of people seeking shelter.

However, they have seen more people seeking meals.
