Walnut Park fatal hit-and-run suspect sought

WALNUT PARK, LOS ANGELES

The California Highway Patrol says someone flagged down officers around 8:45 p.m. Monday and told them there was a body in an alley at Alameda and 76th streets.

Officers found a man on the ground. He had a pulse, so they tried CPR. Unfortunately, the man died at the scene.

He's only being described as Hispanic, between 35 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds.

Investigators believe he was the victim of a hit-and-run.
