More than twenty local artists are volunteering their time to help paint four new murals at the park.

They're also giving the Winnie the Pooh mural a complete makeover after vandals covered it with graffiti in July.

The 100 Acre Woods mural had been on display for thirty years, until it was ruined.

The artists felt the need to show their support in a big way after the vandalism.

Storyland officials say it's been amazing to see the outpouring of support.

General Manager Lynda Restovich said, "You can't replace it nor can you put a value on that, but fortunately out of that bad, comes this good."

Storyland has been a place for many Central Valley families since 1962.

Work on the murals should be done in the next couple of weeks. People can get a chance to see the paintings at the Authors & Artists Festival on September 14th.

The cost of the event is admission to Storyland.
