The 70-year-old man was driving along Quail Lake near Shaw around 3:30 p.m. Sunday when the CHP says he fell asleep.
Instead of curving with the road his car went across one yard, hit a mailbox, a concrete pillar, and drove across another yard before crashing into a porch. No one was injured, and officers say the house only had minor damage.
The driver is not facing any criminal charges.
