Organizers held a celebration at the complex today in honor of its completion. The new center will offer an after school program as well as health and wellness workshops.
The 60-unit complex offers affordable housing for seniors and low-income families. With help from the Community Development Trust and LINC Housing Corporation, organizers also plan full kitchen renovations, roof and window replacements and a fresh paint job.
Wednesday's celebration also included face-painting, balloon animals, and several other craft projects for kids.
