Central Valley residents flock stores to buy new iPhones

FRESNO, Calif.

Signs at the River Park AT&T store warn iPhone fanatics only eight devices were delivered for today's release. But customers are able to order the phones in store, with free shipping.

At other stores dozens of iPhone lovers walked out with their upgraded phones. The new 5s features finger print recognition technology and faster processors. While the 5c comes in an array of colors and has an improved camera.

"I'm giving in this time. My little 4s, the battery doesn't make it more than 6 hours, and then it crashes," Sadie Cardiff from Fresno said.

Central Valley Stores opened an hour early Friday for those who lined up the phones start at $99 and run up to about $300.
