Jill Easter and her husband were charged with false imprisonment for planting prescription painkillers, marijuana and a marijuana pipe in the car of a parent volunteer at their son's school in 2011, then calling police.
Easter received a sentence of a year after pleading guilty, but a judge stayed most of the term. Easter will also be required to perform 100 hours of community service. Her husband, Kent Easter, will face trial next week.
The couple disliked the parent volunteer because they felt their son was not properly supervised.
