Ex-Disneyland employee sentenced for park dry-ice bombs

FULLERTON, Calif.

On May 28, Barnes was in possession of two water bottles containing dry ice. The combination can explode and destroy property and cause injury.

One of the dry-ice bombs exploded at a vending cart Barnes had been tending; the other exploded in a nearby trash bag.

Anaheim police officers and an Orange County Sheriff's Department bomb squad responded to the scene. Police identified Barnes as the responsible party and he was arrested at the scene, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
