3 arrested for mail theft in Madera

FRESNO, Calif.

David Rodriguez and Joanna Huerta of Madera -- and Magdelena Perez of Mexico are accused of breaking into several mail boxes along nine miles of road in Madera County.

When deputies caught up with the suspects, they found piles of mail and electronic equipment used for identity theft in the vehicle. Authorities say the three tossed junk mail from the car while keeping anything that could be used to steal someone's identity.

Rodriguez, Huerta, and Perez are all facing several charges.
