Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a break-in at Caruthers Elementary School.

Abel Gonzalez, Jacob Garza, Christopher Ramirez and Edward Pena were arrested for stealing almost $1,000 worth of food from the school.

Officials say the men broke into the campus cafeteria around 4 a.m.

After an alarm went off they were caught coming out of the cafeteria carrying four insulated duffle bags full of food -- which were also school property.

Nothing else from campus was taken. The men have been booked into the Fresno County Jail.
