3 people displaced after Central Fresno fire

FRESNO, Calif.

The fire happened around 10 p.m. on Bremer Avenue near Poplar Avenue. It took 15 firefighters to put out the fire.

"Approximately tonight we got a report of a structure fire on Bremer. We responded within three minutes our first units arrived. We the first unit arrived we had fire coming out of two windows and the roof." Capt. Dan Mendoza with the Fresno Fire Department said. "It was a lot of fire and we had to wait until first units arrived and we knew all occupants were out of the house so we waited for our backups to show up, and once back up came in we made entry in to the house and knocked it out."

Firefighters say one person was treated for smoke inhalation. Fire officials are still working to determine what caused the fire and the extent of the damage.
