Finn Thompson, 8, was riding in a single engine Cessna with his great uncle, when the plane went down near Chandler Airport. They both died at the scene.
Thompson's service took place this afternoon at Tinkler Funeral Chapel in Central Fresno. Several people gathered to say goodbye to the Bullard Talent student.
He is survived by his parents, grandparents, brother, and sister. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
