Convicted Fresno Co murderer confesses to another murder

FRESNO, Calif.

Madera County Sheriff John Anderson announced a break in the 2001 shooting death of Gary Flynn, the co-owner of the Sportsmen's Den in Oakhurst.

On April 25th, deputies found Flynn dead at the gun store, and for years investigators worked hard on developing leads in the case.

After being jailed for a 2008 murder in Fresno County, Kenneth Wilson told a cell mate he had information on the Flynn murder in Oakhurst, and that man later tipped authorities.

Following months of interviews with Wilson, Fresno County investigators were able to determine his involvement with the Flynn murder.
