The stabbing happened on G Street near Willow in Porterville. Police say a 24-year-old man was arguing with his friend, 23-year-old Gustavo Roman, when Roman stabbed him in the chest.
The victim was taken to Sierra View District Hospital by his family members with severe injuries. Investigators were later able to locate roman and arrested him for attempted murder. He is being held without bail.
