Rosemary Barnes say Flight 837 touched down safely at Mineta San Jose International Airport around 9:38 a.m. Monday, a little more than an hour after it took off. It was able to taxi to a gate under its own power.
There were no reports of injuries. Barnes says the flight was carrying 140 passengers and crew.
She did not have more details on the nature of the circuit problem the pilot reported.
