Cody Griess, Nathan Schindler, and Michael Stucky were all booked into jail for aggravated assault on a police officer.
Authorities say they were drunk and involved in a fight near 18th and K Streets just after 12 a.m. An officer and sergeant showed up to intervene and ended up struggling with the suspects. That's when the sergeant was kicked in the face and punched in the head. The officer used his K-9, and the dog was also punched in the head.
All three are now recovering.
