Stolen 1952 Chevy Deluxe convertible found, returned to owner

FRESNO, Calif.

Police discovered the car in a Southeast Fresno garage Wednesday night after receiving a tip.

Investigators said on January 17th, someone broke into a building on Lansing Avenue, and Fine Avenue in East Central Fresno.

Ken Colombini, the car owner, is dying of cancer, and his family says he spent the last three years restoring his beloved Bel-Air. He was devastated when it was taken, and now its being returned to him--- almost untouched.

Fresno Police are treating the discovery of this stolen car as a chop shop investigation. Officers say they are happy they were able to return this special heirloom to the family.
