Kevin Elia, 21, also waived his right to an appeal. In exchange for his plea, he faces a minimum of 22 years in prison.
Bradley Elia, 58, suffered blunt-force trauma to his head in the December attack. He died a few days later. Kevin's mother, Karla, was also injured inside her West Central Fresno home. She's still receiving treatment.
Kevin Elia had no prior criminal record, but he told police that he didn't like his father telling him what to do. His sentencing is next month.
