Clovis Police are looking for two masked gunman who robbed a fast food restaurant just after it closed for the night.

Investigators say the men had hunting rifles when they walked into the Sonic at Willow and Nees just after 11 p.m. Sunday. Police say the suspects made the workers get on the ground while they grabbed money from the registers. They say one of them may have been wearing a bullet proof vest.

"We did have reports early on that one of the subjects was wearing some kind of vest," said Sgt. Vince Weibert, Clovis Police.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt in the incident. Investigators are not saying how much money the robbers made off with.

The suspects are described as Asian or Hispanic males in their late teens or early twenties. Clovis Police say they left the scene northbound on Willow in a small, red, 4-door vehicle. A third suspect was seen waiting in the car while the robbery occurred.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to contact the Clovis Police Department at 324-2415.
