Fresno police are now revealing new details about the victims of a home invasion robbery.

Officers took 20 year old Brandon Johnson and his father 50 year old Richard Johnson into custody late Wednesday night. Investigators tell Action News they pair were hiding drugs and guns inside their home.

Police went to their house after getting calls that three gunman showed up and stole money. Family members told detectives that money was raised for funeral expenses of a son who had recently passed away. The three suspects escaped but investigators later found out the victims of the home invasion shot at them first.

"There was some inconsistencies being said. I found a live round that matched one of the rounds that was found in the driveway," said Sgt. Michael Manfredi.

Investigators are still searching for the three gunmen who they say got away in a small silver colored SUV. If you have any information you're asked to call police.
