The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Whitesbridge and Teilman avenues.
Police say the driver of a black car hit the motorcyclist. The rider was rushed to the hospital, where he died. His name has not been released.
The female driver of the car was also taken to the hospital after complaining of pain. Officers say she has been cooperating with them in their investigation.
