Michael Brown, of Concord, faces a misdemeanor assault charge for the incident. He was caught on a surveillance camera entering the store.
Erika Porras thought Brown was a store employee and let him help her try on shoes because he told her he was training to be a podiatrist, she told police.
Instead of helping Porras, he put her toes in his mouth and sucked on them. Brown offered to pay for her groceries, but the woman ran away to alert police and her husband, police said.
In 2001, Brown was convicted for breaking into a house and sucking a woman's toes.
